Steven Christopher WallaceSCWfilms is a diversified media production company specializing in: short and long form motion pictures, documentaries, commercial spots and music videos. Our strategy consists of highly visual story telling, utilizing tried and true film techniques along with cutting edge digital technology to realize collective goals.

SCWfilms is owned and operated by Steven Christopher Wallace. Steven was born December of 1977, in Scottsdale, AZ. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2002 with a degree in Humanities. His concentration was in Film and Media Studies. Steven was on the Dean’s List and during his senior year, curated a weekly film screening just off campus at a local restaurant.

While finishing his degree, Steven worked various crew positions on a number of short films. In 2004 his directorial debut, Tempest Fugit, won the 2nd place audience award in a short film competition sponsored by the IFP (then The Phoenix Film Project). In 2007, Steven attended his first international premier for his film There May Be Pleasure in London, UK. It went on to screen at 6 additional international festivals and since secured a worldwide distribution deal.

As director, Steven has screened at the following festivals: AZA digitalCINEMA festival, Pumelo Independent Film Festival, Back Alley Film Festival and Salford Film Festival, along with various niche festivals.

As cinematographer he’s screened at the following: Antimatter, Slamdance Global Anarchy, Microcinema Independent Exposure , Flicker Film Festival, 20,000 Leagues Under The Industry 20K 2K3, Tulsa Overground International Film Festival, Sound+Vision1, Zeitgeist International Film Festival 2003,LAX Los Angeles Experimental Film Festival, Washington DC Independent Film Festival, Black Bear Film Festival, and others.
